Meet the Executive Management team of The Ascertiva Group and NQA.

Emma Clancy, Chief Executive Officer (The Ascertiva Group)

Emma joined Ascertiva Group in 2005 and has held the position of Director of Charitable Affairs and HR Director. She is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and, prior to joining the Group, held senior roles in a variety of blue-chip and not-for-profit organisations including Marks and Spencer, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Which? magazine.

Emma led the formation of Ascertiva Group's training business and launched The Electrical Safety Council in 2006.

Alan Wells, Certification Director 

Alan Wells is a respected figure within the certification industry, particularly for his technical knowledge and experience in the fields of quality and safety of electrical engineering.

In his early career, Alan held posts in electrical contracting where he implemented quality management systems and conducted supply chain audits. More recently he was NQA’s Regional Director before becoming Certification Director for Ascertiva Group.  

Alan represents NQA and Ascertiva Group on various certification committees and has been invited as an expert speaker at numerous UK and international conferences for standardisation and regulatory bodies.
