The SIA ACS is a customer service standard that is built on ISO 9001:2008 and industry codes of practice.
It focuses on customer commitment, positive stakeholder relationships and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. The ACS is recognised by local authorities, government departments and commercial sector.

How to gain registration
The process of registration follows the main steps outlined below:
- complete the SIA ACS workbook by downloading it from the SIA website
- make an application to the SIA for ACS registration
- contact NQA for assessment when SIA approve the application
NQA will undertake the ACS assessment on behalf of SIA. SIA make the final decision to award ACS status.
