Northern Ireland's largest pig farmer given record corporate manslaughter fine
Robert Wilson died on a pig farm owned by JMW Farms at Tynan, County Armagh, on 15th November 2010. Wilson was washing the inside of the large metal bin that was being carried by a forklift. When the bin was being moved away he jumped on to the side of the bin, it toppled and he fell to the ground, with the container landing on top of him. The forklift, a replacement for the normal machine that was undergoing servicing, had forks that did not correspond with the position of sleeves on the 200kg bin designed to prevent it from falling.
