While the main benefit to attaining certification is the improved efficiency and accountability it brings, it is also a unique selling point and a great way of setting your business apart from the competition.

Certification to ISO or another standard is highly useful as a marketing tool. While the main benefit to attaining certification is the improved efficiency and accountability it brings, it is also a unique selling point and a great way of setting your business apart from the competition.

While the general public is becoming more familiar with ISO certification, a lot of its nuances and potential benefits will be lost on your audience if you don't take steps to market them properly.

See below a list of free actions that you can take to help maximise the promotion of your achievement:

     1. Write a press release

A great way to promote your certification is by writing a press release and publishing it on your website and potentially to local and industry publications. To help you with pulling this together you can find information on each standard and a little bit about NQA here.

Please send a copy of your release to us if you would like to include a comment from us, or would just like a quick review before you issue it. We are always happy to help and help share across our social network and include in our news section on our website.

     2. Utilise registration marks and logos

Feel free to download certification and registration marks to promote your registration. You can use them on stationery, advertising, promotional products and signage to let your customers and potential customers know what your company has achieved.

NQA registered clients are authorised to use both the NQA Certification and Registration marks where applicable, however, there are regulations governing the use of both marks so be sure to understand any restrictions beforehand.

Example:

     3. Vehicle stickers

If you have a fleet of company vehicles feel free to email us at marketing@nqa.com and we will happily send you out vehicle stickers to help you promote your achievement on the road. They are 180x270mm in size.

     4. Case study

If you’d like a little more exposure for your achievement, then a case study is a great way to do this. This free of charge service will require you to give us some information about your experience with attaining certification and the processes that you used and we will do the rest. You’ll have full editing rights before anything goes live and you’re welcome to use it however you wish. See some examples here.

If you would like to take part in a case study, please fill out this template with as much information as possible and send with some high-res images to marketing@nqa.com to get the ball rolling.

     5. Social media

We regularly use Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook to promote news and industry insights. If you have social media accounts please feel free to tag us in your posts at @NQAglobal and we will happily share them. This will give you exposure to our large number of followers.
