NQA is the Largest Certification Body Globally for Automotive Sector

NQA is delighted to announce that it is the largest certification body globally in the Automotive sector in terms of certificate numbers.

The sector, which is a global industry going from strength to strength with its focus on quality, has now over 77,000 active IATF Certificates, of which NQA has issued the largest amount.

IATF 16949:2016, previously known as TS 16949, is the international standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems and was jointly created by The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

IATF 16949 draws on the principles of ISO 9001:2015 and expands on these further, pulling in specific automotive requirements, in order to continuously improve quality across the industry.

NQA has successfully certified organisations such as Continental Tyre South Africa and Focustek Manufacturing against IATF 16949.
