NQA Achieves UKAS Accreditation to ISO 50001:2018

03 May 2019
NQA is pleased to announce that we have completed our assessment activities for our ISO 50001:2018 transition and achieved UKAS accreditation for the new Energy Management Systems standard.

After a rigorous auditing assessment, NQA was successfully granted UKAS accreditation on the 25th April 2019.

This is important news for our clients, as NQA can now issue UKAS accredited ISO 50001 certificates to the new standard; globally.

A smooth transition is a top priority for NQA. We want all clients wishing to begin their transition to the new standard and those who have begun already to be assured that NQA is here to help. We aim to support all clients throughout every step of their journey.

For clients wishing to implement an Energy Management System to the updated international standard, we have produced a useful guide to support them on this journey which you can find here.

If you have certification to ISO 50001:2011 you will need to transition to ISO 50001:2018 to maintain the validity of certification. There is the normal 3 year transition period so there is still time to plan your move.

If you are an existing NQA client please click here for transition support and to download the gap analysis document you must complete prior to your transition audit.
