NQA UK Business Development Team Leader (BDA's)

We have an exciting new role in our Sales team!

We are looking for a Business Development Team Leader to join our dynamic and fast paced Sales team and help propel our business forward.

Location:

Your role will be based at the NQA Head Office in Dunstable covering development activities in the UK and Ireland.

Role outline:

This practical and hands-on position is ideal for a candidate seeking a role in a growing global business, offering a fast-paced and varied environment suited for those with demonstrable experience. As a vital part of the UK Business Development team, your focus will be on growing sales revenue in NQA Certification and Training services. 

The role will require proactive management of Business Development Advisors, leading by example and engaging in telesales and campaign activities. You will play a crucial role in supporting and securing the future business aspirations of NQA.

The key functions are:

  • Line manage regional sales staff.

  • Meet and exceed your own sales targets while supporting colleagues to do the same.

  • Complete cold calling and telesales activities in line with sales and marketing campaigns.

  • Record all sales leads and activities in NQA's chosen CRM tool (Salesforce).

  • Support the Commercial Director with sales visits, exhibitions and events.

  • Build positive relationships with new and existing clients to increase initial revenue and retention revenues.

  • Maximise sales of products and services, including the development of appropriate sales channels.

  • Support the Commercial Director in initiatives for the consultant partnership programme.

Essential skills:

  • Experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience of working in a telesales environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Experience of leading/managing a team with high performance figures.

  • Minimum education to GCSE level standard or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence others.

  • Ability to use MS office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook) and tools such as DropBox and Salesforce).

  • Full, clean, valid driving licence.

Reporting

The post-holder reports to the Commercial Director, but will operate with a strong degree of autonomy.

Line management

There are direct line management responsibilities. The post-holder will be responsible for line management of the regional sales staff.
