The Plant Health Order 2018

Amending The Plant Health Order 2015 and coming into force on 1st November 2018 this amendment implements the specific control measures of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/638 establishing emergency measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Union of the harmful organism Spodoptera frugiperda commonly known as fall armyworm.
Controls relating to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2014/237 and Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1849 which cover measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Union of harmful organisms as regards certain fruits and vegetables originating in India and Ghana, are removed as these Decisions are no longer in force.
