NQA Achieves Cyber Essentials Certificate

07 November 2018
NQA are delighted to announce that we have successfully achieved compliance with the requirements of the cyber essentials scheme.
In October 2014, the Cyber Essentials scheme became a minimum requirement for suppliers supporting government contracts. This certification of compliance is important to NQA and shows our commitment to continuing to support our Government and public sector clients in their ISO certification and training requirements.

Cyber Essentials is a scheme which acknowledges organisations that have implemented levels of protection against cyber security. Not only does this demonstrate that an organisation takes cyber security seriously, but it also demonstrates an organisations commitment to protecting the data of their clients.

NQA has assessed itself against five basic security controls and a qualified assessor has verified the information provided. The five basic controls within Cyber Essentials were chosen because, when properly implemented, they will help to protect against unskilled internet-based attackers using commodity capabilities – which are freely available on the internet.
