United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

17 May 2022
Learn how compliance with targeted standards can help to achieve your UNSDG focused goals.

How can NQA support your organisation?

Organisations have a crucial role to play in responding to sustainability issues and looking to the UNSDGs is sensible place to start. The demand for accountability and movement is quickly increasing whether for CSR purposes, customer tenders, compliance requirements or simply reputational risk.

Whilst this may look different from business to business, complying with internationally recognised standards is accessible and adaptable for all organisations. Although standards differ in subjects, they carry overarching goals such as addressing risk, and continually improve which is a great tool in looking to meet the UNSDGs.

To support you in your journey, we have mapped our sustainability solutions against some of the sustainability goals:

Good health and wellbeing

Quality education

Clean water and sanitation

Affordable and clean energy

Decent work and economic growth

Industry, innovation, and infrastructure

Reduced inequalities

Sustainable cities and communities

Responsible consumption and production

Climate action

Life below water

Life on land

What does this mean for NQA?

At NQA we intend on practicing what we preach and have rooted sustainability within the core of our future. We recognise the importance of each goal but have listed below the 4 we believe are most relevant and which we can best act on.

  • Goal 4: Good Health and Well Being

  • Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

  • Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

  • Goal 13: Climate Action
