New TL 9000 Program Manager

Please join us in congratulating Richard Hill in his appointment to the role of NQA TL 9000 Program Manager.

As a leading TL 9000 certification body, NQA has developed a strong brand and reputation in the ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) management system arena. In this TL 9000 Program Manager role, Richard will be charged with maintaining and continuing to develop all aspects of the NQA TL 9000 Program including and in support of business development, auditor resources and competencies, internal business processes, accreditations to ANAB and QuEST requirements, industry networking and standards development, and global strategies for NQA TL 9000 programs – and following a long-standing NQA philosophy, Richard will continue to conduct audits while in this management role. 

Many of you will know Richard as an existing NQA Associate Auditor located in the Toronto, Canada area working on TL 9000, ISO 9001and ESD S20.20 audits with NQA since 2012.  Richard holds Exemplar Global QSLA, ESDA Assessor, and QuEST Forum TIEA (Telecom Industry Experienced Auditor) auditor certifications.  
Prior to his time with NQA Richard worked for Nortel Networks, the Canadian federal government, several Toronto-based software development firms, and owned a successful sole-proprietorship QMS consultancy.  Richard holds a BA from the University of Toronto, and has additionally earned a Diploma in Programming Technology from Control Data Institute, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Quest Forum certified TL 9000 Expert credentials.  Richard will work out of his office in the Toronto area and report directly to NQA, USA Director, Tim Woodcome.

With a solid reputation of his own in the QUEST Forum and more than 30 years’ experience in telecommunications, software development, information technology (IT) and quality management system principles we believe that Richard is ideally positioned to manage NQA’s service offerings to the ever-converging ICT industry.
