NQA is now a Recognized Assessor for The Open Group

13 September 2023
NQA approved as a Recognized Assessor for the Open Trusted Technology Provider Standard
The Open Trusted Technology Provider Standard (O-TTPS) is an internationally recognized standard, supported by the Open Group Trusted Technology Forum (OTTF). The OTTF is a global initiative that invites industry, government, and other interested participants to work together to evolve this Standard.

It’s with great pride that NQA has been approved as a Recognized Assessor of the standard, meaning that we can help your business ensure integrity in technology development and help to prevent maliciously tainted and counterfeit products from entering your supply chain.

What the standard actually certifies:

Also known as ISO/IEC 20243:2018, parts 1 and 2, the O-TTPS is a standard that provides a set of guidelines, recommendations, and requirements, to which "providers" of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Information and Communication Technology (COTS-ICT) products and services can be assessed and certified, assuring customers of their continuous vigilance and dedication to a secure supply chain through the entire product lifecycle. The intent is to minimize risks of corrupted and counterfeit products that can affect the productivity, availability, security, and reputation of provider organizations.

The standard includes best practices throughout all phases of a product’s life cycle, including design, sourcing, build, fulfillment, distribution, sustainment, and disposal.

With these controls in place, the standard enhances the integrity of COTS ICT products and the security of global supply chains. It separates itself from other international standards in that it focuses on processes and procedures necessary to maintain integrity and security of the supply chain. Other international standards target information and cybersecurity practices at the management system or product and system level.

By implementing this standard, you will be taking a step above all other cybersecurity certifications, securing your business from the myriad of digital threats that could jeopardize your organization.
