At Residual Risk Management (RRM) we understand that adhering to all of the various compliance standards is not always an initial consideration when launching a new business. However, it makes sense to have at least the minimum regulatory requirements in place before beginning operations.

Why do you like working with NQA?

NQA have an excellent client base including some of the world’s most prestige automotive companies as well as a global presence across a range of different service and manufacturing sectors.

Top tip for people looking at certification?

We find that quite often companies believe achieving certification can be very demanding and unattainable. We at RRM believe certification can be achieved and stop over thinking the controls. More often it’s the simplest solutions that work best.

What do you find is the most common point of misunderstanding regarding certification or specific standards when visiting clients?

One of the common things we often find is that many organisations just need a little help understanding what the standards actually require. Standards have a lot of information in them and a huge amount of technical jargon, this can be daunting for anyone picking them up for the first time.

At RRM its our aim to make sure you know what is being asked of you and how you can complete it in a way that suits and benefits you.

Is there anything else you'd like to let our readers know?

We at RRM look to integrate the systems across the business as this is not only more cost efficient, creates a more cohesive risk management approach across many departments.

Additionally, our approach at RRM has been tried and tested with large international clients covering a global reach resulting in greater working efficiencies, reduction of losses, increased revenues and resilience to withstand emergencies all of which support the company in the protection of life, systems, infrastructure and reputation.
