The period for meeting these targets are also extended by 18 months to 30 September 2018. These targets require suppliers to install qualifying measures in domestic premises which reduce carbon emissions or the cost of heating the home.
 
This Order also changes:

• the method for calculating the carbon savings or cost savings from certain measures;

• some of the criteria for the measures that qualify towards meeting the targets; and

• some of the rules for the administration of the targets by the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority.
