This amendment introduces new recycling targets for 2021 - 2022 and completely remove the obligation to meet recovery targets.

This amendment introduces new recycling targets for 2021 - 2022 and completely remove the obligation to meet recovery targets.
To implement these changes, the method for calculating recycling obligations is updated. Changes include;
- increasing the value given to "recycling allocation" in the equation used to determine the amount of packaging waste to be recycled by a small producer for the years 2021 and 2022; and
- changing the specific recycling targets for various materials during 2021 and 2022.
