These Regulations establish a government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heat within households.
Amendment
This amendment gives domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) participants the ability to assign the rights to the RHI payments to third parties.
Regulation 5 and 14 are also amended regulating heat pumps and electricity meters.
Regulations 36, 49 and 53 are amended to change the structure of metering and monitoring agreement payments in order to simplify the calculation of a plant’s initial tariff.
