Using NQA Training to Support with ISO Standard Transitions

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are set for major updates in 2026, and NQA offers expert training to help organisations prepare and protect their certification.

ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s best-known ISO standard, with it providing a quality management standard for tens of thousands of organisations across the globe. Furthermore, it has influenced many other linked ISO and non-ISO standards worldwide, with its structure ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) and AS9100 (Aerospace), and other linked standards, such as ISO 27001:2022 (information security), ISO 14001:2015 (environment), and ISO 45001:2018 (health & safety).

Much like its revision from the 2008 version, ISO 9001 is expected to be revised and published in September 2026. Depending on the updates, it could be the biggest single change to the world’s most well-known ISO standard. This is in addition to the ISO 14001 standard update due to be updated in March 2026.

With its potential impact on organisations in most sectors worldwide, it poses questions to such organisations on how best they are prepared to understand and ultimately implement the required changes within their own quality and environmental management systems. A lack of understanding of the requirements may risk the organisation’s own certification to ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001, especially if the changes are significant, which may have contractual, compliance and even legal consequences to a business.

This is where NQA Training can help address such risks. We have significant pedigree in preparing our customers for such transitions, whether it is the ISO 45001:2018 migration or our most recent experience with the ISO 27001:2022 transition from the 2013 version.
