Amends/Commences: Finance Acts 1996 - 2021
Comes into force: 1st April 2021

Various changes to taxes are introduced including the introduction of a plastic packaging tax from April 2022 and increases in landfill taxes, climate change levy and vehicle excise duty. The new plastic packaging tax will be payable by businesses on specified plastic packaging produced or imported into the United Kingdom.
