Several sections (listed below) of the Building Safety Act 2022 are bought into force between the 28th May 2022 and 1st October 2022. The Building Safety Act 2022 was published in April 2022, but sections of the Act where not bought into force until addition legislation (such as this piece) was released.
From the 28th May 2022, sections on the ordering of information related to building liability orders come into force.
From the 28th June 2022, several sections are bought into force, including on the new regulator and addition parts related to building liability orders.
From the 28th July 2022, sections on the removal of requirements related to insurance come into force.
From the 1st October 2022, sections on housing complaints made to a housing ombudsman are bought into force.
