Decision (EU) 2021/1839 of 15 October 2021 postponing the expiry date of approval of creosote for use in biocidal products

Creosote is a substance that is used in wood preservative biocidal products. It is a known carcinogen and requires approval before it can be used as an active substance in a product placed on the market. The approval of creosote was due to run out on the 31st October 2021 but is postponed by these Regulations, postponing the end of the approval until 31st October 2022.
