Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) Additional Fees

Allow for the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) to charge fees when someone applies to it for a licence or wants its consent or authorisation in relation to certain activities and matters.

When does this change take place: 1st October 2016
 
A licensee must pay a fee when they apply to the OGA for consent to a:

  • carbon dioxide storage proposal;
  • development and production programme; or
  • development plan.

A person must pay a fee when they apply to the OGA for a:

  • consent to a pipeline deposit proposal;
  • pipeline works authorisation.
