Amends/Commences: Air Pollution Act (Marketing, Sale, Distribution and Burning of Specified Fuels) Regulations 2012
Comes into force: 1st September 2020
Jurisdiction: Republic of Ireland
From 1st September 2020 the marketing, sale, distribution and burning of certain fuels including bituminous coal, solid fuel containing bituminous coal and solid fuel with a sulphur content greater than 2%, is prohibited in several specified geographical areas including specific area of Cork, Ballina, Castlebar and Tullamore.
