• Forestry Act 1967
• The Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006
Comes into force: 1st January 2023

Some sections of the Environment Act 2021 are brought into force that impose duties on public authorities to consider how to preserve biodiversity and nature recovery when carrying out their functions. They must also produce reports regarding any actions taken to maintain or enhance biodiversity.
