Amends/Commences: The Environmental Offences (Fixed Penalties) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012
Comes into force: 30th December 2022
Jurisdiction: Northern Ireland
The fixed penalties for dog-fouling and littering offences have increased. The penalties can now be between £50 to £200.
A dog-fouling offence under The Dog Control Orders (Prescribed Offences and Penalties, etc.) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 can incur a fixed penalty of between £50 to £80.
