Following the UK’s exit from the EU, the transitional provision in The Plant Health (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 is revised to extend to lower risk plants and products entering GB from EU Member States, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland. This is to ensure that failures of retained EU law and other flaws are addressed so that the Regulations operate effectively now that the UK is no longer part of the EU.
