Amends/Commences: Building Regulations 1997 to 2022

Comes into force: 1st November 2022

Jurisdiction: Republic of Ireland

New buildings containing one or more dwellings must contain the electrical ducting infrastructure needed for the installation of electric vehicle charging points.
Existing buildings must also comply with the requirements if major renovation work altering the building or car parks’ electrical infrastructure is commenced.
