The Climate Change Levy (General) (Amendment and Modification) Regulations 2021

Amends/Commences: The Climate Change Levy (General) Regulations 2001 (SI 2001/838)

Changes are made to introduce temporary financial easement to reduce the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Scheme operators. This relief will allow schemes to be recertified in 2021 if their operators can provide evidence of the impact COVID-19 restrictions have had on their operations.
 
This temporary financial easement will end on the 28^th May 2022.
