Amends/Commences: The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Auctioning Regulations 2021 (SI 2021/484)

The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Auctioning Regulations 2021 are amended to allow bidders acting on behalf of somebody else to be based outside of the United Kingdom. Calculations of the annual volume of allowance is also now a valid reason for the modification or adjustment of the auction calendar.
