The Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2023

Amends/Commences: The Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) Regulations 2021 SI 2021/77 (W.20)

Comes into force: 29th April 2023

The date that the 170 kilograms per hectare total nitrogen limit and the required annual record keeping of nitrogen produced for occupiers of land located in a Nitrate Vulnerable Zone is amended to now come into force on 31st October 2023.

The occupier of a holding must report the following by 25th February 2025:

• The number and category of animals on the holding during the previous 12-month period.

• The number of days each animal spent on the holding during the previous 12-month period.
