Regulation (EU) 2025/910 concerning the non-renewal of the approval of the active substance flufenacet

Amends/Commences:
• Regulation (EU) 540/2011 implementing Regulation (EC) 1107/2009 as regards the list of approved active substances
• Regulation (EU) 2015/408 on the placing of plant protection products on the market and establishing a list of candidates for substitution
Comes into force: 15th June 2025
Jurisdiction: EU
The approval of the active substance 'flufenacet' is not renewed and will expire on 15th June 2025.
Member States must withdraw authorisations for plant protection products containing 'flufenacet' as an active substance by 10th December 2025.
Any grace period granted by Member States must expire by 10th December 2026.
‘Flufenacet’ is removed from the list of candidates for substitution in Regulation (EU) 2015/408.
