The Materials and Articles in Contact with Food Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2018 (SI 2018/186)

Coming into force on 29th November 2018 and applicable to Northern Ireland, this Regulation provides for the enforcement of Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/213 to set limits for the amount of Bisphenol A (BPA) used in food contact materials that may be released from varnishes and coatings into the food which they are in contact with.
