Section 304 of the Energy Act 2023 comes into full force on 2nd December 2025.
Section 304 amends the Nuclear Installations Act 1965, in relation to conditions for excluded disposal sites.
Excluded disposal sites are sites which are exempt from complying with strict requirements, based on meeting permit conditions and handling only low-level nuclear waste.
