The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Miscellaneous Amendments and Revocations) Regulations 2018

Coming into force on the 17th September, this Regulation makes various amendments to a number of pieces of secondary legislation. They update out of date references to domestic and EU law, and correct drafting errors. 

Several of the amendments also reflect changes to EU law in relation to hazardous waste, environmental information, pesticides and beef and veal labelling. 

For example, references to Council Regulation (EU) 2017/997 are inserted. Council Regulation (EU) 2017/997 amends Annex III to Directive 2008/98/EC as regards the hazardous property HP 14 ‘Ecotoxic.’
