AKP Ltd Achieve Certificate to AS9100D

AKP Ltd, which provides Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining services, has been awarded the prestigious Aerospace Standard, AS9100D by the globally recognised certification body NQA.

Gaining the certification is a huge achievement and will enable AKP to bid for business from major defence and aerospace organisations world-wide.



The Company currently employs 15 staff at its Great Yarmouth base and supplies the sub-sea, oil & gas, automotive, motorsports and marine industries. Being in a position now to supply the aerospace and defence industries will open a wealth of opportunities for the business and assist with their expansion and growth plans.

Managing Director, Wayne Read, said “This presentation was the culmination of more than a year’s hard work and represents the first stage of our diversification and growth programme. I am immensely proud of our team for this achievement. This certification is testament to our commitment and dedication for supplying a first class service and we are excited at the opportunities this will afford us”.

The presentation was made by Michael Venner, NQA's Aerospace and Automotive Director who has said: "I am very pleased to present AKP with their AS9100 Certificate, the AS9100 scheme is a rigorous assessment and AKP implemented a robust management system to meet the requirements."
