Supporting the Fight Against Coronavirus
As you will have no doubt seen or heard on the news or on social media, many companies are now switching their business activities to manufacture or provide services in support of the fight against coronavirus.
There have been a number of situations where governments and buyers are requesting that these activities are within the scope of a certificated management system and are specifically identified.
We appreciate that certification and quality systems may not be front of mind for a lot of organisations at the moment, however, ensuring that new products and services consistently achieve their intended purpose is more critical than ever and will undoubtedly help save more lives.
We are supporting any client (or potential client) to add or amend their existing quality management certification to include new activities. Where we are able to support this activity through a remote audit we will do this free of charge.
The specifics
-
Applicable to UK and Ireland clients only
-
A remote audit must be feasible
-
The activities must be appropriate to be audited remotely – this shall be determined by NQA at the point of application
-
The audit needs to take place before the 30 June 2020
-
The application and subsequent scope extension audit must be for a management system covering quality such as ISO 9001 or ISO 13485
-
If you currently hold certification with another Certification Body and would like to take advantage of this, we will transfer your certificate to NQA free of charge in advance of the scope extension (subject to a successful transfer audit)
