Help After Covid-19 for Small Businesses

22 September 2020
Small Business Leadership Programme and Peer Networks

In England a new scheme has been launched to improve resilience, continuity and recovery from the impact of COVID-19 for SME’s. The aim of this scheme is to enable small to medium organisations to continue their development and growth strategies for a more stable and productive future.

The initiative will be delivered by 25 of the UK’s leading business schools that have received accreditation from the Small Business Charter. It consists of a free, virtual 10 week structured course with flexibility to work around busy calendars.

Ultimately the programme has been designed to improve the quality of leadership and management training available for SME’s based in England and to promote learning with peers.

The scheme hopes to deliver this beneficial training to 2000 SME’s across England, the content of which has been based around previous successful programmes such as the Goldman Sach’s 10k Small Businesses Programme.

In order to apply, eligible businesses need:

  • To be based in England

  • To have been operating for a minimum of 1 year

  • To be an SME with between 5-249 employees
