Speedy Successfully Integrates its Portfolio of ISO Standards
With certification to the internationally recognised standards ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety Management) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management), Speedy now holds a portfolio of 4 ISO standards with NQA.
In 2018 Speedy acquired Prolift Access Limited (Prolift) and Platform Sales & Hire Limited (PSHL), they quickly ensured that these new additions to the Group were certified to the 4 core standards they work with, including all locations.
2018 was a successful year for Speedy; they continued to show their commitment to occupational health and safety management systems and sustainability by winning awards in both areas. For the fourth year running, they were awarded a RoSPA Gold Award, for achieving a very high level of safety performance, demonstrating well-developed occupational health and safety management systems. Speedy also won the LEEA 2018 Sustainable Solution of the Year Award, given in recognition of the focus on increasing environmental efficiency and Speedy’s ongoing commitment to consider the impact on the environment, while maintaining profitability.
Look to the Future
Speedy are now working towards migrating their occupational health and safety OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001 and in the near future introducing ISO 27001 the standard for Information Security Management.
