Tim Pinnell Joins the NQA Team as IS Assurance Manager

As a trusted partner, our role is to support you with the right knowledge and tools to ensure the effective safeguarding of your business.
 
We are therefore delighted to welcome Tim Pinnell to NQA UK in the capacity of Information Security Assurance Manager. Tim’s role at NQA will expand on our existing wealth of resources and further support our clients on their compliance and resilience journey.
 
Prior to joining NQA, Tim worked in telecommunications cyber and information security for over twenty years.


From the early World Wide Web days to today’s globally connected information services, Tim brings a wealth of experience in security, compliance and governance.
 
Throughout his career he has played a leading role in adopting, consulting and implementing information security compliance standards, including ISO 27001, PCIDSS and Cyber Essentials, helping organizations understand the risks facing their businesses and the controls needed to mitigate them. Tim has many years’ experience in supply chain and internal security auditing and in the last two years  worked as a data protection officer focusing on GDPR and compliance.
 
In his downtime, Tim’s passion is sailing and paragliding, as well as being a proud member of the RAF Reserve, where he continues to serve in the UK and overseas.
 
Qualifications: BSc, MSc, PCIP, CIPP/E, CISMP
