NQA UK Business Development Advisor

About The Role

We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Business Development Advisor to join our dynamic commercial team at NQA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for engaging with new and existing clients to secure future business, promote NQA’s services, and help organisations improve through certification, training, and verification services.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll play a key part in achieving our ambitious growth targets by developing strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams. 

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Advisor, you will:

  • Deliver and develop excellent customer relationships with new and existing clients, Assessors, and consultants to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure exceptional customer service across all NQA products and services.
  • Support the Sales Manager with sales and marketing campaigns, events, and exhibitions.
  • Record and manage all sales leads and activities accurately in our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants to increase quotes and conversion rates.
  • Engage proactively with clients to expand NQA’s customer base and drive retention revenues.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Training, and Operations teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Complete general administrative duties associated with the role.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about sales, highly motivated, and thrives in a target-driven environment. You’ll have a natural ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Essential skills and experience:
  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and team-working skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook) and tools such as Dropbox and Salesforce.
  • Minimum education to GCSE level or equivalent.
Desirable:
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Understanding of the certification, assurance, or training market in which NQA operates.
