At NQA our National Sales Manager certainly has his hands full. Find out what his day-to-day role includes and what he enjoys most about working for a certification body.

What is your role?

My role at NQA is the National Sales Manager for North America. I lead the sales team for the U.S. and Canadian markets. Our team works with companies of all sizes and scopes. I am proud to say that the NQA team responds to the client’s needs quickly. We pride ourselves on having a person answer the phone and not a voicemail.

Most memorable moment at work?

Going over to our UK offices and seeing how that market operates was memorable. Although we are working with many of the same standards there are visibly different needs from the clients depending where in the world the organization is located. The one guarantee from a client’s perspective is that no matter where you are located you will always receive best of class service.

Favorite things about working for NQA?

I enjoy how NQA works as a team. The goals we set are achieved as one team and not by individual players.  The success of NQA is a true result of every employee doing their best for the client.

Top tip for people looking at certification?

Make sure you find an accredited registrar. I meet so many people that have lost a lot of money thinking they were being audited by an accredited body when in fact they were not.

How might you be able to help our readers?

Look at certification as a benefit to your business. It can seem tedious to go through the process of being audited but in the end having systems in place will improve your company which in turn will translate to more business.
