The Heavy Duty Vehicles Regulations 2019

Amends: Regulation (EU) 2018/956 on the monitoring and reporting of CO2 emissions from and fuel consumption of new heavy-duty vehicles.

This amendment comes into force on the day the UK leaves the European Union.

Amendments are made to ensure the monitoring and reporting of CO2 emissions and fuel consumption of heavy duty vehicles, laid out in Regulation (EU) 2018/956 on the monitoring and reporting of CO2 emissions from fuel and fuel consumption of new heavy-duty vehicles can function following exit day.

All data collected is to be reported to the Secretary of State, not the EC.
