COVID-19 - Update Message to Our Customers

Following the recent announcements from the UK and ROI’s local governments, we will be conducting UK and ROI auditing activities remotely until the end of April 2021.

NQA are first and foremost committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all customers, employees, associate partners and interested parties throughout this event. We continue to be mindful of our clients’ need to have business continuity in their operations, including maintaining required certification(s). Throughout the pandemic we have worked hard to address our client’s concerns and successfully support the continuity of certification.

To support both you and our colleagues, we are continuing to conduct all auditing activities remotely until the end of April 2021 except under very exceptional circumstances. This means that if you have an audit booked before the end of April, this will now be conducted remotely and virtually utilising technology. We will review this following the updates scheduled by the UK and ROI’s governments in mid-April. If the situation changes, which enables us to conduct in-person audits sooner or we need to extend this period we will communicate this.

What To Expect

Your Assessor will contact you six weeks, four weeks and two weeks prior to your remote audit to cover the following aspects:

  • Agree the audit plan

  • Decide the technology that will be used to facilitate the remote audit (NQA mainly use Teams, but we can also use your chosen technology method)

  • Answer any questions or concerns you may have

Understand how the pandemic is impacting your business.

How Should You Prepare

NQA have now conducted thousands of remote audits and can assure you there is nothing to be concerned about.
