This one-day ISO 22301:2019 course has been designed to give you a good understanding of the key global standard for business continuity management. You may be completely new to a business continuity management role, or about to implement ISO 22301:2019 into your organisation.

Course aims

This course aims to give you a good grounding in the history, clauses and requirements of the ISO 22301 standard to help you save money and improve customer satisfaction.

After completing this course, you will have the skills and experience to move on to the next step, either the NQA or CQI and IRCA ISO 22301:2019 Internal Auditor courses.

  • How to specify what is business continuity and the purpose and intent of ISO 22301 

  • How to state the structure, key points, aims and objectives of the standard 

  • How to summarise how the standard will affect your organisation  

  • How to identify the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle 

  • How to explain the clauses the requirements of ISO 22301:2019 

  • How to define the process model approach to Business Continuity Management

  • Anyone who wishes to understand and introduce a business continuity framework into their organisation 

  • Anyone new to a business continuity management role where they need to understand the ISO 22301 standard 

What else do I need to know?

  • Dress code - Smart casual - your cameras will be switched on and delegates and tutors will be able to interact with each other

  • Breaks - There will regular time slots allocated during your course for refreshment/restroom breaks.

  • Proof of attendance - You will be sent a certificate of attendance following your training.

  • What to have with you - We recommend that you have a copy of the relevant standard with you on the day to reference. You will receive a digital copy of all necessary materials before the course starts so please ensure you have access to these on the day and contact us if you have not received them.
